Enrolment applications for term 1 of 2019 open on Monday 30 April 2018 and must be submitted online at https://form.act.gov.au/smartforms/landing.htm?formCode=1087.
All ACT children are guaranteed a place in an ACT Public School, from preschool through to college. Information about the enrolment assessment criteria and priority enrolment areas can be found at https://www.education.act.gov.au/school_education/enrolling_in_an_act_public_school.
If you are applying to enrol in preschool, year 7 or year 11 we ask that you submit your application by 4 June 2018 to support timely processing and school planning. From 30 June 2018, after the application has been processed, parents/carers will commence receiving advice from the school on the enrolment. Please note, that the order in which applications are received is not a factor in schools determining places and as a result, there is no requirement to submit your application form on the first day applications open.

The Co-op celebrated Book Week with our annual Book Week Parade, this year based on the book 'Not a Box' with the theme "It's not a box, its a...". With the theme in mind, students and staff created something out of a box, which wasn't actually a box. We had unicorns, planes, suitcases, cars and many more in our parade!

2017 Science Week was celebrated with our Science Fair. Students visited 6 different science rotations including future earth (where does our rubbish go?), combining liquids, rocket launch, geology, scientific toys and chandelier of plastics. We worked in multi age groups including students and staff from Black Mountain School. The day included three visiting scientists, lots of great questions and fun for all. Future Earth is in good hands!

Thank you families for your support of our Book Fair. We hope you are enjoying reading the books you have purchased. Here are some of the books we will be adding to our school library from Scholastic commissions earned.

To celebrate National Science Week, students enjoyed participating in our Science Fair. Visiting scientists, along with students and staff from our neighbouring Black Mountain school, shared their knowledge and challenged our thinking in experiences with sound waves, robotics and senses, designing robots, mini rockets, cloud in bottle, changing molecules and gravity.Sharing the learning in multi aged groups added to the fun.
