How can you get involved?

At the Cooperative School we have an active community base. We encourage all members of the school community to be actively involved as they play a vital role in helping out and offering their expertise with Competitions and fundraising activities . Each year the school fete is a fantastic culmination of the community's efforts.

Family Maths Night

Home Reading 

Children learn to read by regular reading and writing. As part of the Home Reading Program we encourage preschoolers to borrow from the school library and to be read to daily by an adult. In Kindergarten, Year 1 and Year 2 children should be taking Home Reading books on a daily basis.

how can you help?

Set aside a special time to listen to your child read; read to your child; encourage success; help to make reading a pleasurable stress free experience; work with your child to find information or to provide support when completing homework tasks.
